Our history
The fascinating story of our Blaugrana Penya 3 towers is born in the most intimate details of the meetings of a group of friends, five or six people, who shared meals at the Carmel restaurant, located on Buigas Street, in the picturesque neighborhood of the three Torres in Barcelona.
These friends, united by an unwavering passion for Barça, saw how the idea of creating a rock took shape thanks to the owners of the restaurant, Liceu and Maite, also fervent fans Culés, who proposed the creation of this entity.
The heart of this initiative was beating in the proposal to found a rock in this corner of Barcelona, a neighborhood that until then had maintained a closer relationship with other teams. After a meticulous management and support of FC Barcelona, they achieved authorization at the end of 2016 to become the 2232 Penya del Barça worldwide, a recognition that filled all founding members with pride.
At that time, it was the second rock baptized by a priest in the world. The expected inauguration took place on May 2, 2017 at the same Carmel restaurant, which became the official headquarters of this special group. The inaugural ceremony was a majestic event, chaired by former Barça players and other relevant personalities of the club, who shared joy and union with everyone present.
Since its creation, La Penya has been a core of activities and camaraderie, organizing cultural exits, sporting events and meetings to enjoy together the Barça matches. Unfortunately, Covid-19 pandemic interrupted this vibrant rhythm, But the determination of the group led them to find a new headquarters in the SBH Smash Burger, a cozy place where they continue to gather to live the emotions of the games and other sporting events. With an expanded vision, the rock aspires to enrich its activities beyond the parties, with the intention of weaving a broader network of Barça fans and promoting social and cultural cohesion between its members and neighbors, creating a community that breathes the passion for the club and the wealth of Catalan culture.

We are working to find a new headquarters that will allow us to continue to share our passion for Barça and organize activities for all partners.
